Side by Side: The Future of PA Services for You

At PA Services for You, everything we do starts with one belief: care should be about people, not just processes.

For too long, support for people with complex needs has been defined by limits — what someone can’t do, where they fall short, or how they need managing. We see things differently. We see possibility, connection, and community. And that vision shapes the way we work, the people we employ, and the future we’re building together.

Our Story So Far

When I founded PA Services in 2017, my vision was to create something different from traditional “care by the hour.” I wanted to build a service where young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs are supported to thrive, not just cope.

Over the years, our team has grown, and so has our impact. From one-to-one support in the community to the creation of our Hub in Crawley, we’ve become known as the organisation that walks side by side — not in front, not behind. Families tell us they feel part of something more like family, and that’s exactly what we set out to achieve.

Our Values in Action

To capture what makes us unique, we’ve shaped our vision into four values — the pillars that guide us every day:

  • The Specialists – We only support young adults with complex needs. It’s all we do, and we do it with focus and skill.

  • The Companions – We walk alongside, offering the warmth of family and the trust of friends.

  • The Champions – We champion every individual’s voice, choices, and independence.

  • Believers - We believe in every individual’s potential — seeing possibility, not limitation. At PA Services for You, we are Believers in the Possible.

One of the clearest examples of our values in action is the Hub. This summer, we hosted sessions in art, karaoke, board games, and of course our famous Bubble Disco. The Hub has quickly become more than a timetable of activities — it’s a place where friendships spark, confidence grows, and independence is nurtured in safe and supportive ways. We’re now looking ahead to our first Halloween Week Celebration at the Hub, running from 27–31 October. Expect spooky crafts, themed games, and plenty of fun for everyone who joins us. (Places are limited, so be sure to book soon!)

Looking to the Future

So, what’s next for PA Services?

We’re committed to expanding opportunities for young adults in Surrey and Sussex. That means:

  • Growing our Hub activities into more themed weeks and special events.

  • Continuing to invest in our staff, ensuring they’re trained, supported, and celebrated for the incredible work they do.

  • Strengthening our community connections so families, schools, and professionals see PA Services as a trusted partner.

Above all, we’ll keep focusing on what really matters — helping young adults build independence, friendships, and lives full of purpose.

A Final Word

To our families, thank you for trusting us.

To our staff, thank you for walking side by side every day.

And to the young adults we support — you inspire us constantly.
